Easier to wrap, better thumb loop, better material, better elasticity, better shape retnetion wash after wash, thinner and more breathable, better hand protection since I can wrap tighter. That they are 1/2 the price of Everlast is a bonus. Longer, thinner and stretchier is a good thing. I hit the bag as hard as I possibly could today with these for 30 minutes and felt nothing in my hands. I have not experimented too many brands of wraps but with these I'm not tempted too. I'd be surprised if you didn't love them. This review is from: Everlast Thai Pad (Black) (Sports) Definitely buying another pad, it only comes as 1 per. They aren't very big, but they good for concentration and weight almost nothing. As the trainer, their light and easy to maneuver, getting hit doesn't hurt. As a trainee they are solid and can take some wear, I've used them nearly ever day for a good month and they're still like new. My only complaint is that if you kick them without a guard on your instep it will definitely sting a while. Also you should know that the handle is solid and, in my opinion, better for holding on to. It is well-constructed and has a good grip, but it is rather small, makes a good forearm pad. Works well as a striking/blocking pad for hand/elbow techniques. The price is excellent, but if you really need a good kick pad, you're probably going to need to spend $70-$100. Still, a good value, just not large enough to be really versatile, but then again it is small, lightweight, and quick. I'll end up buying another much larger pad for more money, but this is a useful piece of equipment and I'm glad I bought it.
